About us

Excel Civil Enforcement was founded in 1991 and delivers outstanding enforcement, collection and associated services to local authorities and central government departments.

We recognise the importance of revenue collection and help our clients to recover more.

The directors at Excel have a combined experience of almost 200 years, giving them the insight and experience to drive the business forward whilst having the understanding and knowledge to support their clients effectively and efficiently.

Excel directors have held post as president of CIVEA, chair of the High Court Enforcement Officers Association and vice-chair of the BPA enforcement special interest group, and three managers sit on regional IRRV executive boards.

We offer nationwide coverage and have industry leading recovery rates.

Why use Excel?

We provide nationwide coverage with a UK customer service centre and 24/7 telephone and internet payment facilities.

  • We have the most qualified welfare team in the industry
  • Our customer service staff are qualified to Level 2 in Taking Control of Goods and have accredited training in vulnerability and mental health awareness
